The Creep-crab family is a family of crustacean-like creatures, first sighted in Pikmin 2, and once more in Hey! Pikmin. Only bosses of Creep-crabs had appeared in the Pikmin series.
Segmented Crawbster[]
The Segmented Crawbster is a boss enemy Creep-crab species found in the Cavern of Chaos in Pikmin 2, and found nowhere else in the game. Its right front leg had evolved into a large, muscular arm which it uses to swing at enemies, and also capable of rolling at high speed, crushing its prey with its hard shell as it does so. While having impenetrable armor, its underbelly is exposed and vulnerable if flipped over onto its back.
According to unused content, if the Segmented Crawbster is to be salvaged outside the Cavern of Chaos, it would be worth about 30 seeds.
Armurk[]
The Armurk is a boss enemy Creep-crab species found in the Sparkling Labyrinth in Hey! Pikmin. Like the Segmented Crawbster, it too has armor protecting its frontal body, though its rear end and underbelly are vulnerable to attack. It is capable of rolling into a ball, but can actually bounce around in order to crush its prey underneath it, and its jellylike legs allow it to walk on walls and even ceilings.
