Strategy[]
The Puffy Blowhog serves as the boss of this cave. Caution should be exercised due to its ability to knock Pikmin far back and the cave's low walls and depths below. Evasion is a priority, particularly through staying on Oatchi and moving around often, especially when it cues an attack. To defeat the boss, simply throw Pikmin at it, preferably while it is attacking due to its inability to move in that state. After enough Pikmin are thrown, it will be weighed down and fall to the ground, where it can be Rushed for maximum damage. It will puff back up after a short amount of time, where the process can then be repeated for a safe defeat. Alternatively, the boss can be frozen while airborne for an instant vanquish. This can be accomplished through use of Ice Pikmin, which will freeze it after several hits, or a well-aimed Ice Blast, which turns it to ice instantaneously. The Ice Blast must be aimed fairly directly below the boss to collide, which can be difficult due to its movement and the weapon's roll when thrown. This is easiest accomplished while the boss is attacking due to its stationary nature.
