The Electripede is an enemy found in Hey! Pikmin. It can't hurt your Pikmin due to the fact it's in an area with only Yellow Pikmin, but can do damage to you with electricity. It is only found in one area, Area 6-B, Lights in the Darkness.

"It creeps along walls and ceilings in the dark, generating the electricity it uses to zap away threats. If I could get a bunch of these and harness them for a power plant, I'd be richer than the company president."
Battle Strategy[]
You can attack the Electripede, but only hit it with a Yellow Pikmin to make it become electrified. This will produce light, which can activate pink flowers which bloom under light. The Electripede is invincible, likely to prevent the player from getting stuck and killing it when it is required to use for light.
