An Eye-Stalker Bulbeel is an enemy encountered in Hey! Pikmin. They are aquatic grub-dogs that hide underwater, wait for prey to come by, and lunge upward with their mouths agape to devour it.
Notes[]
Hey! Pikmin Creature Log[]
"Apparently the Grub-dog family includes this aquatic relative, which will try to eat anything that draws near. I wonder how many times that's backfired on it. How many acorns that happened to fall near its mouth has it swallowed?"
Battle Strategy[]
Hey! Pikmin[]
Eye-Stalker Bulbeels can be spotted by the bubbles that they release when they poke their heads out of the ground. When you see these bubbles, approach the area cautiously. If you are near the ground and you don't see the Bulbeel, make sure you are out of the way of where the bubbles came from so you aren't attacked by the Bulbeel when it lunges upwards. Bulbeels can usually be avoided, but they aren't too difficult to take out. When one comes out of the ground, hurl all of your Pikmin until it retreats. Then lure it back out by floating above it, returning, and hurling your Pikmin again. Repeat this a few times and it will be defeated. These creatures have a lot of health, and take a lot of time to defeat, but the reward is tons of sparklinium!
