A Fireflap Bulborb is an enemy encountered in Hey! Pikmin. Similar to other Dwarf Bulborbs, this is actually a member of the Breadbug family. It is a Fiery Dwarf Bulblax that has evolved to be able to fly. It attacks by dropping burning flakes of its skin onto anything below it, in the form of fireballs.

Fireflap Bulborbs will swoop down and drop fireballs on anyone below. Luckily, they don't appear in levels with any Pikmin that aren't Red Pikmin, so the only one to worry about is Olimar. Keep your distance from the Bulborb and hurl a Pikmin at it from afar. Like most enemies in this game, they die in one hit.
