A Firesnout Beetle is an enemy encountered in Hey! Pikmin. They are small, red beetles that look similar to Armored Cannon Beetle Larvae. They hide in tunnels and emerge to breathe fire when Pikmin come near.

Firesnout Beetles die in one hit, so you can simply toss a Pikmin at one to kill it. However, when they are covered in flames, they can't be hurt by any Pikmin other than Red Pikmin. Red Pikmin cannot be harmed by these creatures, so use them to kill Firesnout Beetles if you have any with you.
