A Flying Spotted Jellyfloat is a type of Jellyfloat and an enemy in Hey! Pikmin. They appear in Downpour Thicket (5-C) only. Flying Spotted Jellyfloats are first seen on the top screen, then float down when Olimar and his Pikmin walk below one. Unlike other members of the Jellyfloat family, Flying Spotted Jellyfloats do not create vortexes to suck up Pikmin, and they just land on them.
A strategic way for Olimar to defeat a Flying Spotted Jellyfloat is by whistling for his Pikmin and then moving to the other side of the Flying Spotted Jellyfloat. When the Flying Spotted Jellyfloat lands, Olimar can throw a Pikmin on it to defeat it.
