The Mawdads are a family that consists of only one known species: The Armored Mawdad. The only appearance this family is in is Pikmin 3.
Armored Mawdad[]
The Armored Mawdad is the first boss of Pikmin 3. You need to break its armor with Rock Pikmin. After you successfully did so, you need to attack the skin underneath. Sometimes, it will crawl onto the ceiling, so you won’t hit it. Once it is defeated, it will drop a Fire-Breathing Feast.
