Pikmin 4 features a major update to the character in the form of customization. Below are all the selectable options in character creation. All options are gender neutral, and the player is able to express their character however they wish. There are a total of 69,120 combinations to choose from. For brevity, some defaults are chosen to be models for each option. The player's look can be changed once the Castaway Puddle is found, and after a certain amount of Leaflings are rescued, there is an option to make the player look like one.

Trivia[]
- All members of the Rescue Corps have suits the same color as the Player Character's.
- If you make your character look like one of your Castaways, Puddle will say that "you look like someone around here". Puddle will also say that you are beautiful if you change your look to be identical to them.
