Raw materials being retrieved by Pikmin in the Sun-Speckled Terrace in Pikmin 4

Raw materials are light cyan-colored rocks in Pikmin 4. They are used for construction and to purchase items from Russ, after he has been rescued from the Last-Frost Cavern. Raw materials can be turned into brown clay to construct clay bridges and climbing walls.

Locations

Raw materials appear in all areas of Pikmin 4, either in piles or dropped from enemies and obstacles. Each pile around the map usually contains anywhere between 5-30 raw materials. Most enemies generally drop three raw materials, although some drop nectar instead. Raw materials can also be found in dirt-mounds.
