The Spiny Alien Treat (山菜王) is a treasure in Pikmin 2, part of the Nature's Candy Series. It is actually an artichoke bud.

The Spiny Alien Treat is located in the Valley of Repose, on an island near a drainable lake. Before the player drains it and let their White Pikmin dig it up, they should make sure to defeat the Red Bulborb in the arena and the Dwarf Red Bulborb that accompanies it. The player should then lead Blue Pikmin to the rock formation that is behind a wall. After destroying the rock formation, the player can lead White Pikmin to the island where the Treasure Gauge beeps excessively, and the White Pikmin will begin to dig up the treasure and begin its retrieval back to the Hocotate Ship.
