Waddlequaffs are enemies in Pikmin 4. Waddlequaffs are duck-like creatures with a long red beak and a tan fur. If a Waddlequaff sees Pikmin or food, it promptly inhales it, regardless of its size.

"It possesses a bottomless stomach and will swallow down anything and everything unfortunate enough to end up in its path. It will even consume things larger than its own body without missing a step. The best part is its goofy little head that looks just like a fuzz-covered gourd!"
Olimar's Notes[]
"Its overdeveloped respiratory muscles allow it to suck in large volumes of air through its long, thick beak while feeding.
Its feathers are too small to use for flying. The current theory is that this is due to its niche position in the ecosystem being quite secure thanks to a lack of natural predators and little competition for food in its habitat.
However, with the expansion of Pikmin territory, recently its number have been gradually declining."
